Must be willing to relocate or live within 20 minutes of the Conway Office on Route 16 in Intervale, NH.
EDUCATION: A high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Additional schooling in electricity, lineworker’s training, technical school or mathematics is desired.
EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in utility line construction, maintenance and operation on multi-phase systems, both overhead and underground. All lineworkers hired after October 1988, must have a lineworker certification in rubber glove methods of performing line work or will be required to satisfactorily complete a Lineworker Training program designed by the Cooperative.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must be able to complete forms and reports and work without supervision. Must possess a working knowledge of the construction maintenance and operations of overhead and underground distribution lines including metering, transformers, voltage regulators, oil and electronic reclosers, and capacitors. Must be able to read schematic drawings and instruction manuals. Additional knowledge and skill in performing hot line work with hot sticks desirable.
ABILITIES & SKILLS: Should be skilled in the areas of organizing and planning and should possess an in-depth conceptual and working knowledge of utility regulations as required by state and federal agencies. Must be an effective communicator and hold a valid heavy commercial driver’s license (CDL-A). A Commercial Boating License is required within one year of date of hire. Mechanical aptitude and manual and finger dexterity is necessary. Ability to climb and work on poles and structures is needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Must work inside and outside, sometimes under adverse weather conditions and long hours. On call and overtime is required. Occasional overnight travel to attend training sessions or to assist other utilities during major storms is required. Temporary change of base area may be required. Assistance with power restoration efforts is required of all employees. It may be required during regular business hours that employees will be assigned functions to support power restoration and for some employees that may be different from their normal duties. In addition; such assistance may require working nights, weekends and holidays which may involve considerable extra hours. In order to meet this working condition, all employees are required to provide a personal phone number where they may be reached after hours. This number will only be used for internal purposes.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years previous dealership or fleet maintenance experience as a Mechanic I or equivalent education or certification required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:Knowledge of garage operations and vehicle maintenance; trouble shooting, tune-ups (using diagnostic equipment), ABS air/hydraulic brake systems, welding, hydraulic systems and perform repairs off-site. Must hold a valid NH CDL Class A drivers license or be able to obtain one within one year of date of hire.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS: Must be able to inspect, maintain and rebuild all types of motor vehicles and associated equipment without direct supervision. Must have a state certification for inspections or the ability to obtain one within three months.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Will be required when necessary to work any Coop established or designated shift, perform duties in the operating districts, work in inclement weather or emergencies repairing or recovering disabled vehicles. Must supply own tools up through 1 1/2" including metric sizes. Position requires lifting and carrying heavy objects. Occasional training may require overnight stays. Assistance with power restoration efforts is required of all employees. Depending on the severity and duration of power outages, employees may be required to assume duties and work hours that are outside of their normal working conditions. Such assistance may require working nights, weekends and holidays and may involve considerable extra hours. BUSINESS AND GOVERNMENT RELATIONS ADMINSTRATIVE ASSISTANT
EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent required with training in secretarial courses. Associate degree in Secretarial Administration or Executive Assistance preferred. Some supervisory development courses desired.
EXPERIENCE:Eight years of responsible secretarial/administrative experience required. Must be proficient in the arts of minute taking, file organization and maintenance.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:Assist department management in preparation, conduct and analysis of departmental studies to improve efficiencies and effectiveness. Must have strong interpersonal skills in dealing with members, visitors and all management and office personnel. Must have strong ability to type with speed and accuracy sufficient to complete assigned duties. Must be able to compose correspondence. Good communication skills required. Must exercise discretion and use sound judgment in dealing with others. Must be able to safeguard confidential information. Knowledge of financial and power transaction terminology helpful. Must have the ability to handle a variety of diverse tasks and organize work to meet deadlines. Must be capable of efficiently organizing and maintaining a filing system. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Knowledge of Microsoft Visio preferred.
ABILITIES AND SKILLS:Must have a thorough working knowledge of secretarial and general office procedures, record keeping and use of business machines. Should develop in a comparatively short time, knowledge of PUC rules and regulations, and Cooperative policies and procedures. Must be proficient in Business English.
